Administrator setup required
No administrator has been configured. The server operator must run this command on the server:
npm run users:bootstrap -- --email YOUR_EMAILThe command prompts privately for the password. Do not enter bootstrap secrets here. Signing up never creates the first administrator.
Link unavailable or expired
Ask the administrator for a new one-use link. Links are shared personally; this app does not send email.
Forgot your password? Ask the administrator for a one-use reset link shared personally. There is no automated email delivery.
Anyone may request an account. Ordinary signups stay pending until the administrator personally confirms identity and approves access. A valid invitation activates only its bound, whitelisted email.

Approving access requires you to confirm the person's identity. Invitation/manual verification records the actual method; signup alone does not verify an email address. Administrator and current-account actions are unavailable here.

Invitations
Accounts are created only through one-use invitations that you share personally (no email is sent). Open invitation: not tied to an email; whoever redeems it picks their own email and password. Share it only through a private channel. Email invitation: whitelist an address, then create an invitation that only works with that email.

Recording retention. Original recordings are kept for 30 days after upload for playback, waveforms and clip export, then deleted automatically. Transcripts, recaps, speaker names and saved clip ranges stay until you delete the session. Azure Speech only receives a temporary processing copy, deleted after transcription.
